DIY Solar Mount/Arch

Anyone DIY their solar arch ?

If you had some Schedule 40 stainless pipe 90° mandrel bends (radius ?), some swivel mounts,



some straight pipe, internal splices and tees and you could do a decent job !

You would need a pipe cutter, a good drill and bits, 1/4-20 tap, button head machine screws.

Can’t find it now, but another site showed a home-made arch that used a fiberglass ladder for the transverse portion. Saved a lot of weight and provided a large area for solar panel array. Painted to match radar mast, looked good.
