Fiberglass Repair in New York Harbor/LIS?
Suffered an allision last night after tying up at a marina in Manasquan/Brielle, New Jersey. Out of control monohull bashed both bows (stems) enough to require much more than gelcoat repair.
Anyone know of a yard in the Sandy Hook, or western Long Island Sound we could get hauled at for repairs? Only option here in Brielle, might be floating barge repairs but current is outrageous, as is boat traffic we are exposed to.
44' L x 25' B, approx 19,500lbs
Thanks!
Pat

Captains Cove Marina - Bridgeport CT. Maybe a little far for you, but: Marina and Seaport | Captain's Cove Seaport They are multihull friendly and can accommodate your beam in an 85-ton travelift. They're also very nice people to deal with and will allow you to do your own work, to the extent you choose.

Brewer Yacht Yards are tops! There is one in Port Washington and one in Glen Cove on Long Island and one in Mamaroneck on the north side of the LIS.
You won't go wrong with this company.

Went into Mannesquan at night one time and surfed in thru half the bridge opened, the grommet was purty tight, lol.
The fishing boats there could care less of sailboats, especially the charters with there wakes. They hoot n holler the more you rock. Heathens 😩 We experienced that while waiting for weather, then just went inside instead.
" out of control monohull" ? That sounds like a hell story...
Good luck to you.

You might contact Lockwood boat works in south amboy nj. 12 mi west of you
http://lockwoodboatworks.com
They do quality work, are close,
Not sure if they can take your cat,
Good luck with repairs. Liberty Landing is a nice place but pricy
