Tinting international Danboline (bilgecoat)

Hey all,

Anyone know how to tint international's Bilgecoat painting from white to a sandy/beige colour?

A local Ace hardware can give you pure tint. Ask them how to make whatever color you pick from a card and they can tell you ratio of tints to mix or do it for you.

But if I remember correctly, beige is white base with green, red and some black.. Maybe just the first two, it's been a minute since I made sand color.

It's just a paint color pigment for almost any paint. It's what paint companies use to color paints before you buy them. A paint stocking hardware store should have this, it not a dedicated paint store, such as for automotive or marine paints, will have it.

Some of these products are not tintable (well not easily) they normally make these products in white and grey standard, last time i tried they did it with another product to tint to my choice, i now use the other brand all the time as i found it easier.

Just phone them and ask first if it will be ok to tint
