Cleaning Hull

We have tried many cleaners to remove black rubber marks from a white fiberglass hull. Please share your experiences with me. Thank you.

Re: Cleaning Hull

If Daz won't whiten it, and OMO won't brighten it, try the Best Universal Grit Grime and Effluent Remover. Bugger it!

If that doesn't work, try the Finest Universal Cleanser Known. F*** it!

{RIP dear old Fred Wedlock}

On a serious note, apparently Bar Keepers Friend is pretty good stuff.

Maggie,

Sorry my earlier post was so short. If you can find something called Magic Eraser it will remove black marks on gelcoat. It is a very fine abrasive so don't rub hard and not longer than necessary to remove the black mark. You can also use a liquid based mild abrasive such as Collinite fiberglass cleaner http://www.defender.com/product3.jsp...291&id=1033018 .

Most chemical cleaners won't remove rubber scuff marks.

Cleaning Hull

Totally Awesome, a common household cleaner does a great job on black rubber scuff marks. It removes the mark but also removes the wax so have a bit of liquid wax handy to touch up after cleaning.

Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner, Degreaser & Spot Remover 2 bottles total of 40 Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004XTTIWA..._mOg1wb6JY4163
