Re: From Texas to????

Greetings to all. A former crew member is in the house. "The Dreamer", a Pearson which sails one of the great lakes, Michigan to be exact, was my vessel on a playground of water as I grew up near the shore. Was once my dream to raise my off spring, retire in my 40's, become a cruiser and also train my canine for Search n Rescue. As history has it, an unfortunate chemical accident in Aug of 2009 has prohibited me from living out my dream, however I can't think of anything that can hold me back from communicating with like minded people. I am a Pisces by birth and as long as there is water, I am true to my sign.
Looking forward to making new acquaintances, the closer to San Antonio and love of cruising open waters the better.
Di

OMG...it's been a bit. Shortely after I joined the forum I ended up in bed with the flu.

Also I want everyone to know what a forum dunce I am. Should I not get the hang of posting...feel free to correct me.

Re: From Texas to????

Hello, We just bought our sailboat and it is docked at Waterford. Loved to get together when we move to the boat. Right now we are in the process of selling everything to take the next step.

I can see we are going to have to speed up our plan, which is to have enough skill and practice built up on the central texas lakes to feel confident on the gulf by the end of the season.
