Dashboard windows

I am running OpenCPN on a CF19 Toughbook and as the screen is a little small, wonder if there is a way to adjust the Dashboard windows?
Particulary the compass & speedo combo take up a good bit of corner space.

Re: Dashboard windows

Rezice as you do with any other window. Grab the corner of the window with the mouse pointer and move to desired sizw.

Re: Dashboard windows

Peter,
I've done that, yet as the attached screenshot shows, this is as small as they go.
I was hoping to make the compass & speedo smaller!

As to my 'time' issue I found a recording that has the date in the RMC. Why on some recording & not on others, I will endeavor to find out.

Re: Dashboard windows

I think they could be made smaller but have a minimum size so that they don't get too small to disappear?

Anyone else need them smaller?

I would prefer to rewrite dashboard instruments using opengl with alpha blending however...

Re: Dashboard windows

It certainly would be helpful for my use. Thanks for the consideration.

Re: Dashboard windows

particularly on touchscreen it would be great to have a small instrument shown and on one-touch-click to show big dials and reverse on another click to small size. could even be triggered by a e.g 5sec timer.
