Search window goes away.

I click on "Search", a small window pops up and very quickly disappears before I can type in it.
What am I to do ?
Thanks !

Re: Search window goes away.

OK then, I just got dressed down in a very lengthyPM for not using the Google search rather than this Website's own search and I feel compelled to explain.

Searching this site is very much a prerequisite whenever one tries to avoid starting new threads on subjects that have already been discussed, often ad absurdum.

Simple Forum etiquette, dear PM friend.

Off course I still don't have an answer to my initial question .....

Re: Search window goes away.

Excellent point and thank you for responding.

Android 5.0.2 and Chrome. I could try another browser but this problem is a first for me. I have no other problems with this or any other website.

Thanks Adelie !

Goes away quicker than you can move the cursor to, and click on, the open window ? Hmmm!

Re: Search window goes away.

I've also struggled with our search feature. I hit the search button which BREIFLY sends me to a simple search window which goes away before I can populate anything! Very frustrating and been going on for years. My device is a kindle fire (android or 5+)
