Blogging Across the Atlantic, New to the Forums

Hey All, I'm currently in the Azores and have been blogging my way across the Atlantic with position reports and the whole thing. If anyone is interested please feel free to check out the blogs (one is for underway and the other tends to work better in port for posting pics and vids).

In Port: http://sailingchantecler.blogspot.com

Underway: http://www.sailblogs.com/member/chantecler

Just a bit about me and the boat:

I'm 26 years old and have only really been sailing for going on 3 years now.

I'm the lone crew on a 50 foot steel-hulled boat named "Chantecler" that we refitted in Panama City, FL over the last couple months of last year and first few of this year.

And anything else anyone wants to know please feel free to ask...or check out the blogs, it might be on there. Both of them might involve some scrolling back through old posts to get a feel for the trip...too bad I didn't make more people aware of it before Ieft...oops!

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything in your blog about how you came to have a 50 footer, crossing oceans, at age 26...

RE: Age

It is mentioned a few times in some of the posts of the blog where I refer to the Captain...as well as in my introduction on here where I mentioned that I'm the lone crew (which I guess could've been taken to mean that I was singlehanding...but that's not the case). Anyway, sorry for the confusion but yeah, I'm crewing and have been for almost 3 years on this boat.

Destination? If there is one.
Azores sound good, nice to hear there's a relaxed attitude there, and on board.
