non yellowing sealant

Ive removed a couple of cockpit storage compartments that are set into the sidewalls, to remove the old sealant along the joints that have become dirty looking. Ive used the 3M 4000 UV on my previous boat because it was advertised to be non yellowing. After approx 2 yrs, the 4000 wasnt the clean white silicone appearance anymore and was looking dull and slightly yellowed. It was not from the sunlight as the boat was always kept in a covered slip year round. Had the appearance/texture of freshly applied latex caulk, not the smooth clean texture when 1st applied.

What is a good product that will will stay a clean white and not yellow?
