Visit to Miami / Ft Lauderdale area next week - suggestions for marinas/eateries?

Hi Cruisers!

The hub and I are heading to Miami this Saturday for some business and would love a few suggestions for nice walkable sailboat marinas with restaurants for some of the dinners. Any suggestions? We're staying in between Ft Lauderdale and Miami so could go either way! Thanks!

One of our favorite spots is "Le Tub". The best hamburgers you will ever have in a cool Caribbean feeling shack about 2 miles south of Port Everglades on the intercoastal.

Try Tarks of Dania Beach. Looks like nothing from the outside but it is a great place where all the locals eat seafood. In Ft. Lauderdale try Southport Raw Bar, Cordova Road, Ft. Lauderdale. Sit out on the dock and have lunch.

Try the marina at Pier 66 Ft.Lauderdale. If you have lunch by the pool keep the receipt for free parking. There is also a bar etc; at the end of the dock right on the intracoastal.
