Orinoco is presently located in the Mediterranean 80km east of Venice, Italy in one of the best cruising areas. Meticulously maintained and updated including a brand new set of Dolphin DYS trip radial sails. Push button operation with manual over rides and in turn-key ready condition. Just put some food onboard along with your clothing, and set off on a circumnavigation.

I'm willing to deliver to Montenegro for VAT reasons and give several days of teaching aboard to a new owner if requested at no charge.

Price: $455,000 USD

Re: Oyster 53 For Sale

For a limited time between broker listings, I’m offering our Oyster 53 to Cruisersforum members for $370,000 without a broker involved.

I will be relisting shortly, so please contact me sooner than later if interested. Orinoco is turn-key cruise ready, just put some food and your clothing onboard and head off to where ever you wish to go.

Many systems are brand new including high quality Dolphin DYS sails, refrigeration and Lewmar V5 windlass, and an allowance will be made to add the electronics of your choosing. The boat is presently in a top quality marina 80km east of Venice Italy, just 24 miles from Croatia.

Ken and Pam had me on Orinoco and can vouch she is a lovely boat.

Getting ready to re-list with a broker, anyone interested at the reduced price of $370,000? Easy push button operation on a go anywhere, well-maintained boat. Allowance for new electronics offered.

Re: Oyster 53 For Sale

I would be interested in having a chat about the 53 , our original plans were to look to purchase mid 2020 for some cruising plans in 2021 however we might have some flexibility on this.

If you are able to send me your personal email or phone we could have a better discussion

Many thanks

Nick

Hi, Kenomac. Looks like from a perusal of Yacht World, you've relisted Orinoco with a broker. I'd come across her before in my search for the "retirement boat" but her foreign address was a drawback. However, just lost out on "Eclipse", a Seattle-based 53; so I'm back to my window shopping. Would love to chat with you about her. With all the onboard systems, does one become a "Wizard of Oz"? ;-)

Re: Oyster 53 For Sale

Our boat just underwent an electronics refit including two chartplotters, digital radar, an additional Spectra watermaker, Ultra anchor and will include a Highfield dinghy and Solbian solar array. The price will be increased to $395, 000 to CF members or $425,000 if purchasing through a broker in order to reflect the additional improvements/items. We are presently on the boat and will be heading down to Croatia and Montenegro shortly, then on to western Greece.

Unlike any of the other Oyster 53 boats which have recently sold, ours is totally push button equipped with Reckmann hydraulics to furl the jib sail and a Hood electric mast for the main sail. All sails are brand new except for the furling spinnaker... which was another $10,000 improvement which wasn’t previously included.

Re: Oyster 53 For Sale

We are now cruising full time on the Oyster 53 in the Med this summer while our Oyster 62 awaits us back in the Americas for fun in the Caribbean this winter, so a complete professional fuel polishing system and battery management system has been added back on along with an additional Mastervolt 75/24 charger and Icom SSB radio system. We have two charging systems. The list of spares and tools is too long to list.

Needless to say, the boat is cruise ready.... we’re doing it, “living the dream,” etc. You can too on the best equipped Oyster 53 to be found anywhere, this boat has everything.

Presently priced to CF members at a firm $395,000.
