The Most Monohull Brand For the Least Money?

Okay, here are the rules....
Nominate a sailboat you think is a lot of boat for very little money.
It's got to be sturdy, not have too many glaring repair issue concerns, and sort of easy on the eyes.
Brand is enough, but if you know a specific model, throw in that info as well.

Here's one British sailboat that seems to be the Rodney Dangerfield of the sailing world (speaking of the make, not the model in this case):

1974 Westerly Longbow Ketch Sailboat

In case the link goes dead....I'm talking about the good old Westerly line of boats.

Seeing as you picked the Westerly Longbow (I had the sloop version) which is my fav boat I guess it'll have to be choice number 2..
The unsinkable Sadler 29.. a sexy looking and great sea boat...

Ooooh! I'd like a Sadler 34! Bit more expensive though!
Very good pick with Sadler!!

I'm going to have to read your posts on the Westerly. They seem to be way undervalued in the States.

I look on the Centaurs, Longbows, Pentlands and Berwicks as the VW Campers of the sailing world..
All Laurent Giles hulls that sailed... topsides were chunky but.. you got 6ft headroom all the way to the V berth.. and built like tanks.. grand storage for distance cruising..
Seen my old one is up for sale.. may see if I can do a trade..

A budget, location, & intended use would help a LOT: But...
Cal 29's - NICELY Equipped for $4 - 5K, Ranger 33's - DITTO for $10 - $12K, & there are plenty more

The old Cal boats were quite good. I especially liked the Cal 40.

Well I don't know about Westerly models being undervalued in the US but we own a 36' Westerly Corsair sloop from 1984 here in Charleston, SC, sailed her across the Atlantic in 2014 and are now happy cruising in the Med. I can tell you though: it's just as expensive to get a new set of good cruising sails for a Westerly as it is for an Island Packet of the same size. So cheaper to buy, maybe, but maintenance costs are just the same!

Picked up my 74 Cal 27 T2 for $1,000, has new $1,300 hummingbird nav and an 07, 25 horse Mercury 4 stroke EFI outboard.. + 3 flexible solar panels.. good sails. New porta potty.
Perfect boat if your 5' 6" ...
Less than perfect if your 6'.
