Buffalo to New York

Hi Guys, Is there sufficient depth for a 7 foot draft through the canals, and at what point can one re-step the mast.? Thanks.

Re: Buffalo to New York

New York State Canal management should be able to advise you on average depths throughout the system. The yacht club at Caselton (sp?) on the east side south of the Troy Lock is a very popular spot to reset your mast. It is a do it yourself operation that has or had a remote powered crane for the task.
