Broadblue Cats?

Does anyone have any experience with Broadblue Cats? We hadn't seen them before but saw a couple today. We don't know much about them. Any observations or experiences??

Successor to the Prouts.

What vintage are you looking at. The early ones were just re-branded Prouts. More recent ones are a different boat entirely.

I guess you went to the used multihull boat show .. and I would say they look like two different kinds of cats .. personally I went on the 400 and I was told they would be avengering around 14

How ever I found them to be way to low in headroom in the hulls when you are more than 6' feet tall

Re: Broadblue Cats?

Sailed one R400, UK to Menorca approx 1,400 nm. Layout internally is slightly quirky and some aspects of the rigging are strange. That said, it was very quick off the wind, we maxed out at over 16 knots and often 12 sustained. I'd want a good sea trial so I could see if I could live with it's features
