Hello, How are these boats the 35 footers if kept up? Hulls, how they sail? Water boats">Blue water boats? Thank you.

We've had a couple CL in our family. That vintage are good but have their issues. A few things you might look at. Blisters in the hull because most were built the british way with chopper gun lay up. Many had fiberglass tanks, good for fuel but maybe not for potable water, loose strands. Lots of copper plumbing. Copper Lpg lines glassed into the hull can leak. Poor quality nontinned wiring and low grade stainless railing. Beautiful blond interior cabinetry but plywood veneer tends to delaminates if water gets past varnish from leaks. Oh, i almost forgot, teak decks that can be a pain. Under the teak I seem to recall a layer or 2 of fiberglass mat over plywood deck core.
