Buying in Panama Questions

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a boat in panama and wanted to ask if somebody has already done that / is familiar with required paperwork (if any)?

It's a dänish flagged boat being in panama for a decade or so and I'm german.

I'm aware that I'll probably have deal with VAT / import tax if I enter the EU VAT area for a prolonged time.

What I'd be interested in is how the local officials react on a boat leaving after a prolonged period of time and if I'll be able to get a new cruising permit when I change the flag and maybe the name of the boat. (the idea is to stay for a season and then sail on)
