They had their shipping software set to default to Priority Mail. 1st class postage to anywhere in CA should be $11.50 USD.

Peggie! I already bought your book last year...how much postage for me to mail to you for signature and then mail back??? Just kiddin, will have to wait for your next edition...thanks for a most valuable resource on ca-ca...

On the off chance that any of you still have even the slightest interest...

I was finally able to talk to Sbo.com this afternoon. They have adjusted their shipping charges to $4.00 for all domestic orders of my book...and that includes AK, HI, and PR. International 1st class postage is $11.50. Refunds are being issued for all orders that were charged more than that.

Very sorry for all the confusion, but VERY glad y'all alerted me to it instead of just deciding not the buy the book.
