We are looking for a new boat insurance carrier as our current company's rates have almost doubled. They tell us that they made an error last year but...

A friend suggested a Dutch company called Commandeur verzekeringenin. They haven't had to make a claim so didn't have knowledge with the company's responsiveness.

Their preliminary rate appears quite good. Has anyone had any claims experience with this company?

We will also be getting a quote from Pantaneous US. We tried their UK company after receiving a recommendation, but they don't do Canadian or US boats.
