Home Depot sells the red metal jerry cans. They hold 5 gallons and run you about $35. You can also try military supply or army surplus stores, as the US military still uses the strong plastic ones. These would be my reccomendation because they are tough as hell, last forever, and will float, even full of fuel, and of course plastic won't rust.
