I wonder also. It seems we all live in a world of panic without insurance, but then when we have a claim we dont use it in fear of the insurance company. I think it is probably necessary to have liability in lieu of todays lawsuit and environmental issues though... You live in a boatyard? You probably dont need insurance if you are not in the water...are you talking isnsurance if you leave the US cruising?
