Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like there are a lot of destinations to explore in the harbor. We were pleasantly surprised at the cost of real estate there and have just bid on a Port Charlotte canal property. It seems lake a good place to use as a home port for trips to the keys and the southern atlantic coast. Maybe even Cuba in the near future. Please continue to educate me about the area.
