Ixtapa (at least in the late '90's) was a T-shirt town with sidewalks, Arbie's Roast Beef etc., although the marina was nice.
Otherwise, I could have seen the same thing in Lynnwood Washington. No thanks.

Zihuatanejo was wonderful.
