We've had canned bacon but it's very salty. When we provisioned to travel south I bought pre-cooked bacon at our favorite wholesale membership store and popped it in the freezer. It's very good, better than canned, and re-heats very quickly.
One of the most used food items for us is canned chicken breast chunks - good for lunch, dinner, or appy!
