Mr.Perry the Passport is indeed number one or two on our list and I am concerned about the headroom in the galley as it is located under the cockpit, while I have you how about the numbers on berth lengths as well ?
I agree with most of you that headroom in cabins is not that critical, and most shower heads hit me in my chest even on dry land, but my wife really has gotten spoiled with a chef for a husband so being able to stand upright in the galley is a must.

The later Passports are a different animal from my earlier Passport. However, I have been in the later Passport 47CC.

The galley has quite comfortable head-room. I believe that it is the same as the main-salon.
That Passport 47 is one fine vessel IMHO....anyone would be happy to own that boat and it would be a great world cruising vessel. That hull design is
basically the same as my Passport 45 and the most comfortable that I have sailed.
