3ringmike - I've installed several of these units in the boatyard and we have one in our Newport 33. My suspicions: check the pressure in your gas line, it's possible that your LP regulator just isn't keeping up with the demand from the heater. As Kai Nui mentioned, these units can consume alot of fuel, (about 1lb every hour) but they heat like the dickens! I believe the line pressure should be .5psi while the heater is in operation. I'm assuming that your gas line IS the required 3/8" ID. Then there's the remote possibility that you may have contamination in your tank, lines and/or the heater valve. Have you tried running the heater from a different tank? These are good little heaters, especially since they don't use electricity or make soot and smoke!
