One of my long term plans, at the moment just an idea simmering on the back burner, is to visit, and eventually stay in Nova Scotia. I am at the very early stages of investigating NS but it does look fantastic.
Does anyone have experience of sailing in and around Nova Scotia and the Eastern Coastline. I know that NS has some large tidal ranges but that's about it. Is it affected greatly by the North Atlantic Current or other local peculiarities? Looking more in the Digby and Annapolis area rather than the Halifax side, (not ruling them out just concentrating on one area first).
