It will work fine. You need to use the correct mig wire or rod to weld them in. Dont use a mild steel type wire. There is a lot of information on just this subject Stainless Steel to mild steel on the Metal boat society web site. www metalboatsociety.org
Needless to say your galvanic protection needs to be in good shape regardless.
