Lifetime hose? This I gotta see! I'd pay lots for it, too!
Your local ITT agent should be able to source some very good Shields hose that they have branded for themselves. However: my personal thoughts: any of the decent butyl-lined sanhoses that Hoses Technology (5 year guarantee) Vetus (dunno how long) and other people do should be fine for a modest [read: "realistic"]budget. All you're paying for is the absence of that unique, special yacht-heads smell.
Any good food-grade butyl-lined hose will work, I guess.
Good preventative maintenance also works: replacing low cost outlet hoses regularly when you overhaul is always a way to keep your waste system in 100A1 condition.
