I have been in the Bahamas for over 1 month and the locals have told me that there is less and less cruisers every year. Why do you think this is?

There is also very few boats under 30 feet. Any thoughts?

I know of a couple in a 12 year old 25 foot coastal cruiser boat cruising The Bahamas for the season.

Are the sail mag(rags) promoting the lifestyle out of existance?
