One thing that makes using a socked asym easier is to raise the chute in the sock before you connect the sheets and tack. Once up, you make sure there is no twist in the sock. There is either a black stripe or a seam that you can look up and use to take out any twists. Then connect the tack at the collar(, probably an ATN Tacker) and the sheets. The asym does not want to fly DDW, you will want to head off a bit to keep it flying cleanly.
