Well, I do things a bit differently...
I don't have a windlass, and my main anchor lives in the starboard bow.
I prefer to come at my anchor spot downwind, with only my starboard mainsail slightly...

My cat rigged, biplane sails can be let out well beyond 90. Dead downwind, very little risk of accidental Gybe, huge view, VERY COMFORTABLE.

Each mast weighs just over 100 lbs. I can lift and maneuver them around all by myself.
The tops are around 3-4" in diameter. The bottoms are around 10". Probably 3/4"...

Thanks Zee. Maybe we'll see you down there again this year. Not sure if we'll make it all the way to Zihuat again. I get my kids for the month of December, and we will sail from San Carlos to La Paz....
