Re: New Anchor

Our Manson supreme spends most of its time securely anchored in compacted sand and weed.

Re: PureAyre Fogger for Diesel Smell?

Fix the leak
Clean the boat
Do the maintenance.

We have a 1970's ex working trawler with 2000 gallons of diesel.
Zero diesel smell, zero smells of any sort.

I wouldn't actually be riding between countries, just using the bike in the country we are in at that time then putting it back onboard and onto the next country.

I also...

Road vehicle registration across multiple countries

Might seem silly but we have space onboard for a 650cc motorbike which, before we got our current vessel I had spent considerable time making into a comfortable and capable touring bike, comfortable...

Re: DINGHY HORSEPOWER

We anchor a long way out well away from others and have not been in a marina in over two years so our dinghy is our truck needing to carry several months worth of supplies in all weather.
It also...

Re: Using Spot instead of Epirb

1) if they are so reliable why have you needed so many over so few miles?
2) isn't epirb pretty much mandatory these days?

Re: yacht roll at anchor

Obviously you have never been in an overly rolly anchorage

If the setup is designed properly the rigging will not suffer and the reduction in roll levels is dramatic.

Re: Using Spot instead of Epirb

Don't need to spend anything like $800
GME 406 epirb is $250, one with GPS as well is $400

Re: Using Spot instead of Epirb
