Have been searching for several years for the cruising partner gal...if they are nesters...no amount of tech or trips will satisfy them if they live near their kids to begin with.

two and a half gallons of propane lasts 4-5 months with regular showering? I would love to see the BTU's versus gallons of water possible....

Feel free...I'm not smarter than my quotes (probably stolen from some other great mind)...but I am smarter than the hose clamps and wiring on my boat...at least I think so and until they start...

No...3rd liveaboard...tens of thousands of miles pole to pole on USCG cutters, factory trained installer (Furuno, Raymarine, Simrad), delivery capt...and another whole page or so including 2 yeard...

you are right it wasn't rocket science but there were MANY differences between even models from the same manufacturer in the same year....different resins, methods, application...etc..etc

are we talking a bit of gel from scratches? if so...then wome more gel would be fine.

if we are talking the entire boat...I recovered with 6oz cloth and epoxy...then 4 thick coats of...

Because it CAN be a problem...maybe not...but worth grinding down to see if the scratch is already there.

Some boats because of construction and location never have problems while others have...

Because it's easy and a positive way of knowing your connection is solid...I've seen so many butt connections fail through the years it makes my head hurt...even some of my own.

No not at all.....just wet laminates...why would you think I was so stupid as to not know the difference between a wet core and wet laminates??? I think I was pretty specific and not at all unsure...

It squirted out...and I could see it in the laminate in many areas.

Moisture meters are suspect in my mind (mainly because the user and their limitations)..

Another method (recommended also...

standards say to also have a mechanical connection to keep things together if the wires get hot enough to melt the solder...

its up to you...some people solder and crimp....

others will argue...

Grind now...water will probably NOT dry out in a few months. I had pockets of water within a 1/4 inch of where I ground down for more than 5 months after I started grinding...I also found a 5 foot...
