Just FYI...Woody wax is for Non-Skid...It does NOT make the non-skid slippery.

Your sail inventory will also dictate the rigging needed when going down wind. I believe this to be the most difficult points of sail as you must keep constant watch to wind shifts, boat motion, back...

Wax for Non-Skid surfaces is Woody Wax. Apply to clean decks by spraying on a wet deck and spreading all over. Rinse off, and buff dry with towels. This stuff does work, but only will last ~6-8 weeks...

I've had work done at both Jabins in Annapolis and Herrington Harbor North. BOTH are top notch and you will not go wrong at either.

Any idea how old it is? What brand are the other instruments on the boat? Perhaps same company? Age of it would help...is it the same as the boat? If so, perhaps dealer installed when new? I am not...

Have a friend who had a Tartan 37, which was destroyed in Hurricane Sandy thathad a Vari Prop on it. I said on the boat many times and the prop was outstanding. It performed MUCH better than a fixed...

I just installed a Xantrex Echo and did not re-wire the alternator. There was no indication of this with the instructions nor any indication that this was remotely necessary. Please explain the need...

I would also run the AIS wire for future use. A few extra $$$ now for cable will save much aggravation in the future......
