Yep, I think definitely consider if you want to risk the polyester masthead sheaves.

Good observations ROM,

Yep I meant up to 45 deg to the wind as the boom can be quite a way out as you raise or reef.

Hi jbinbi,

Drone is DJI Phantom 4. I set it to return if it loses signal, otherwise fly back.

My Leisure Furl is furled by a reefing line hidden in a drum in the end of the boom so looks tidy....

Well, that is Lagoon looking after revenue, and their suppliers, and not the customer, a pity! I agree it is too expensive to give up on the old sail and boom. Having said that, I disliked them so...

Sorry to go on about this but I don't understand why you would not spend just a little more and fit, at purchase time, a Leisure Furl on the L450F in particular, and probably the L450S as well?
