There's no such beast as waterproof ply. Marine ply and construction ply generally have waterproof glue, the difference between the two being timber grade/weight. Any ply will rot if left damp so...

Ok Scottster, good to know. I dont have any of those but dont miss them. Usually pull the dinghy up by hand, had a gennaker but prefer a parasailor and I like the sofa! :)

You would have to go through the broker to join the delivery crew. He is the one that arranges delivery. The best option might be to offer to cross biscay and depart there if things don't work out...
