Hi Ann, good point of view.

Would you have had to start with zero funds in case it would have gone wrong?

I agree totally that one should have all good equipment and a seaworthy boat to start...

We do that, but if your boat is your home and fortune, its wise to carry insurance too.
Especially if you are not a wealthy yacht owner.

The premium is to low for long distance. They do European coastal waters up to 200 nm offshore.

Hey everybody,

we maybe going across around x-mas and my current insurance does not cover this.
Neither does Pantaenius.

The boatvalue is about 70 000€ and this means the premium seems to low...
