works under water, never had any trouble with it. caulked an entire wood boat using this. does not seem to have any odor or taste. seems inert after cure. I have repaired copper pipes by squeezing... |

PL premium polyurethane construction adhesive would be a quick easy simple long lasting fix. Just trowel it on, fill the pin holes. If you want you can embed glass fabric. it will be 100% waterproof... |
