Re: Feature Requests

I'm afraid what you request would worsen the user experience in multi canvas setup. If there really are settings you FREQUENTLY use not accessible from the per-canvas lower-right corner menu, please...

Re: Feature Requests

In this scenario you should run it in portable mode (wih -p parameter) to get what you ask for, in that case the ini file is next to the executable and all your instances will share the same file....

Re: Feature Requests

Sorry, Windows XP is dead. It is dead, completely dead, for 7 years already. Move on.
You are of course welcome to invest all the effort that will be required and build all the dependencies with XP,...

Re: Feature Requests

Of course publishing, well documented, metadata extension and eventually merging it to the standard is the obvious next step in your efforts of making mbtiles fit for your application, which will...

Re: Feature Requests

Why does metadata not belong to table named metadata, which obviously is there to contain metadata, please?

INSERT INTO metadata VALUES('depth_units', 'METERS'); Paradigm applied, standard...

Re: Feature Requests

No, it is not clear to me why you would not extend a general standard that is designed to a) make extending trivial and b) be immune to breakage from such extensions.

Because we clearly stated...

Re: Feature Requests

If the fields are missing, extend the standard and add those fields, that is what a database table holding key-value pairs is for.

The good explanation is: Because people like you will immediately...

Please, read that standard, you can find it at https://github.com/mapbox/mbtiles-spec/blob/master/1.3/spec.md
As you can see, there...

Re: Feature Requests

What you see depends on the transparency of the mbtiles (You do know they may be and are transparent, right?). And the most detailed, topmost displayed one is on the left, as with any other chart...

Re: Feature Requests

MBTiles standard ignores the metadata you talk about, but of course anything can be put into the metadata table, come with a sane system, start publishing good tilesets using it and we will implement...
