Actually we see testing on Chesapeake Bay periodically. Outages are published in LNTM. |

ASAT missiles. A bad software upgrade to the constellation. Solar storm. Jamming. I'm not suggesting that any of these are likely, but they are possible. |

Cool. I'll look them up. Have you found or developed the spherical trig to avoid needing to use HO tables for celestial nav? I would think one would need some awful almanac data for the stars... |

If the system goes down I have a sextant, HO249 tables, a crystal-controlled clock, a stop watch, paper, and pencils. I have a compass. I can see the sun and stars. It's pretty hard to miss a... |
