Thanks, she likes the idea but isn't infatuated with it like I am. I'm doing the legwork to see how feasible this is, and if other options would make more sense before wasting too much of her time...

That’s a great idea. I want to learn to sail, so getting a day sailer is going to happen either way, and the ASA courses are very likely to happen, even if my family doesn’t catch the bug.
