If I were doing it I would ensure there was a fuse on the positive lead between the controller and the battery. And if you are going the dual controller path then a separate fuse for each controller.... |

I'll have a crack at answering, but I don't think I can get you all the way to a useful answer. 123 Watts is an odd size, I've never heard of that capacity on a panel, but lets assume it is... |
