Fair points - noting I've had poor experiences with deck steeped mast. I'll stick with keel stepped as safety first.

How and where is mast base - on deck or down in hull? If in hull how is it set - in lead or aluminium?

So the mast goes all the way to the bottom of the hull base - lead base as a weight?
