Literally all the injuries that I have experienced since I was about 63, have happened as a result of boating problems: falling off the boat,having boat part attack me for no reason at all, etc. ...

I injured my elbow trying to step from the dinghy to the boat on the mooring when the line to the cleat let go and I ended up half on the boat and have in the dinghy, trying desperately not to fall...

He wasn't sailing. He was out on a slippery dock in near gale force winds by himself. He could have been blown into the water, which would have been fun to get out of. And then without his cell...

Jack was run over by a car(and killed) at age 95 while he was out for a run in prep for a marathon. Of course he didn't have the V chest figure that he had in the TV exercise videos of the 1950's. ...

As we get older, we have to learn what we simply cannot do anymore. Lifting heavy things; going out to the boat all alone in galeforce winds, always carrying your sell phone just in case, etc.
