That worked. Have now the plug in and the chart folder appearing. Reading SLOWLY, ALL parts of the manual in German helps....:facepalm:
By now I have the first set of maps...

I have installed stable version 4.0. And you are right the 2 plugins you mentioned are there.
I did not note any error messages. However, my anti-virus has twice rejected a file...
