Thanks - 5 - 10 seems like a good range but sails and rigging might need replacement toward the latter end.

I have read on CF that new boats often take time, effort and money to work through any system integration issues and that you can expect a new boat to depreciate by more than 10% in the first two...

If you were in the market for a used catamaran to live aboard, what's the best balance between age/depreciation and value?

Seems like the ideal would be someone with money who bought the boat new...
