Heeling beyond say 30° means an overcanvassed boat Anything lesser is just pleasant and... faster Pounding is typical of modern flat beamy designs. My 54' displaces 27tonnes and has 11tonnes... |

A sturdy professional skipper told me he suffered from seasickness just once, when on a rough sea with a cat....... maybe it was the table bouncing up :-P |

I dont want to feel constrained in a half-size hull, with a long corridor like a jail I dont want two engines, positively so! I want to be able to see beyond the bow from the cockpit astern ... |
