Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
I wonder if you have electrical current in the water from your boat? Should not eat a free standing zinc like that. When you next dive, check the anodes on your boat and see if they have accelerated... |

Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
I come from a motor boat background and am moderately familiar with roll stabilisers both active and passive. Active in the main being hydraulic and expensive. The stoppers work. It dampens the... |

Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
They cannot. There are a couple of methods for dampening roll in a Cat but no need to discuss here. The rolling issue is not as pronounced generally or feels the same in a Cat.. That is not to say a... |

Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
Why did I state this? 1/. You said you were considering a catamaran for more stability in anchorages. There is nothing wrong with the Oyster as is, so its primarily and upgrade to have this... |

Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
Personally, I dont find "uncomfortable jumpiness/jerkiness". I find it different to a mono. I think maybe those who are used to a mono will be sensitised to the difference. Even some cat owners... |

Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
Im sure you are right. HOwever: I woul have to purchase a specific type of monohull to get the low lean feature...whereas all catamarans dont lean and I can buy what I want without regard to this one... |

Re: The Reason People Are Moving Away From Monohulls
