I'm sorry I mistyped it and didn't catch in time to edit.

The measurement is from the bottom of the rubrail.

It varies a little between 11-12” from the bottom of the toenail to the top of the strip. The strip goes through the center of the port light at the mid point of the hull.

Patrick, did you post the question on the Hunter owner site. There’s a 356 down the dock from me and I’ll go measure it tomorrow
