I like the DYC very much, and the long walk from clubhouse to docks is good for building a thirst. It's also a good place to experience a proper current...stopping at the visitor's wall with an 11.5... |

You can do that in a Sandpiper. It was a good day for it, too, if cool. I motored to my own haulout because I like to run the engine before I winterize.... |

Heh...well, really, it's just a case of having the newer boat as a work-in-progress, and the old boat as a "can't bear to part with her". Such choices are possible when you don't own a car. |
